
Michael Fleischer
Born in Canada, Michael currently splits his time between the UK and Hungary. He earned his Fine Arts Bachelor’s Degree from York University in Toronto before completing his studies at Central St Martins College of Art and Design in London, followed by postgraduate training at the National Film and Television School in Beaconsfield.
Before venturing into film and television production design, he honed his craft for a decade as a freelance set and costume designer in the theatre, collaborating with esteemed institutions such as The National Theatre and The Royal Shakespeare Company.
Fluent in English, French, and Hungarian, Michael has gained international experience across diverse countries, including the UK, France, Belgium, Tunisia, Thailand, Italy, Spain, Hungary, Norway and Japan. His projects encompass a wide range of formats, from stage productions to feature films and episodic television. Notable works include the CBC/Netflix drama “X Company,” “The Last Dragonslayer” for Blueprint Pictures, the feature film “Hurricane,” the popular ITV drama “Grantchester,” and the BBC series “Baptiste.” Michael is also proud to be the production designer for the last four seasons of the hit CBS prime-time drama “FBI: International,” produced by CBS & NBC/Universal.
